Our Mission
Alpha House seeks to break the cycle of incarceration by providing a
transitional home in a safe and positive environment, accompanied by
services to assist residents in making a new start in life. Alpha House
will focus on the whole person by addressing their physical, mental and
spiritual needs.
Our Program
Alpha House Is a six month in resident program utilizing a multi-level
approach designed to address physical, spiritual and social aspects of the
individual. Residents are provided with a safe, monitored environment free
of drugs and illegal activity, meeting the basic physical needs of
women. Alpha House believes that spiritual wellness is the springboard to
complete restoration. Therefore emphasis is given to church attendance,
Bible study and discipleship activities. Life skills training bridges
educational gaps by providing instruction in such areas as budgeting and
finance, writing skills, basic computer skills, and domestic
responsibilities. This multi level approach, by its nature, will allow
residents to experience a new level of personal success.
